• You will independently prepare the monthly payroll for all employees
• You will conscientiously maintain personnel data and ensure correct, up-to-date payroll information
• You will calculate bonuses, special payments as well as holiday and sick pay in accordance with legal requirements and company agreements
• You will submit reports to social insurance providers, tax office and other authorities in a timely manner
• you check and post all payroll-related transactions in the system
• you manage and archive payroll documents, payroll accounts and digital documents
• you provide employees with expert advice on payroll, tax and social security issues
• you take care of the reporting and certification process (e.g. work certificates, remuneration, pay slips, etc.). e.g. work certificates, remuneration certificates)
• you support the HR department with annual financial statements, audits and auditing issues

• You have completed commercial training, ideally with a focus on finance or human resources
• You have experience in payroll accounting
• You are familiar with social security and tax law
• You are characterised by care, reliability and discretion when handling sensitive personnel data
• You are confident in using common accounting and payroll systems such as DATEV, SAP or other HR software
• good knowledge of MS Office is a matter of course for you
• you work independently and in a structured manner, even under time pressure
• you have a good command of written and spoken German
• you are open to new legal and technical requirements and are willing to undergo regular further training
