Your responsibilities

• You will handle day-to-day bookkeeping independently and ensure everything runs smoothly
• You will carefully check, allocate to the correct accounts and post all business transactions
• You will manage accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger accounts
• You will handle payment transactions and monitor outstanding items
• You will manage the dunning process and keep track of overdue payments
• You will reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies independently
• You will assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• You will reliably prepare accounting analyses and reports
• You will work closely with internal departments and external contacts

What we’re looking for

• You have completed a vocational qualification as a tax clerk (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or hold a comparable qualification
• You have several years’ experience in accountancy
• You also have a sound knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger accounting
• You are proficient in using MS Office and standard accountancy software
• You have a good command of written and spoken German
• A good understanding of figures and economic relationships is a strong point in your favour
• Reliability, the ability to work as part of a team and a meticulous approach to your work round off your profile
