• You will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day financial accounting independently and in full, as well as for the accurate posting of all business transactions arising in day-to-day operations
• You will also be responsible for the timely processing of all payments, as well as ongoing dunning procedures and the maintenance of all master data
• Furthermore, you will oversee the systematic reconciliation of accounts and ensure the smooth running of day-to-day accounts receivableand accounts payable processes
• The independent preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the requirements of the German Commercial Code (HGB) is also one of your key day-to-day responsibilities
• As part of your role, you will support senior management by preparing meaningful business analyses as well as well-founded reports and statements
• Furthermore, you will act as a competent point of contact for external auditors, tax advisers and public authorities as a competent point of contact for all tax and accounting-related matters
• Finally, you will be responsible for actively contributing to the optimisation and digitalisation of existing internal processes across the company’s entire accounting function

• You have successfully completed further training as a financial accountant (m/f/d) as well as an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk (m/f/d) or office management clerk (m/f/d)
• you also have several years’ solid professional experience in financial accounting and bookkeeping within a medium-sized industrial company
• you stand out thanks to your sound knowledge of preparing annual accounts in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and your proficiency in using ERP systems such as ProAlpha
• You have excellent written and spoken German, at a native-speaker level, enabling you to liaise confidently with external contacts
• Furthermore, you bring a high degree of structural analytical acumen, discretion and a very meticulous and independent approach to your work
• Finally, you are a goal-oriented individual who works closely with the management team in a solution-focused manner, demonstrating great enthusiasm and a strong aptitude for figures
• To fulfil this position of responsibility, in addition to your professional expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and be permanently resident in Germany
