• You prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• You will calculate and post provisions (e.g. costs, taxes, etc.)
• You will monitor and reconcile stock accounts, as well as balance sheet and general ledger accounts, which you will maintain
• You ensure the completeness and accuracy of the trial balance
• You review and oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable, and you also carry out credit control
• You prepare advance VAT returns, INTRASTAT declarations, etc., and prepare documents and reports for the tax adviser
• You provide support during annual accounts, tax and internal audits
• You will contribute to projects relating to new local regulatory requirements (accounting, tax, etc.) and assist with the implementation of new accounting systems and processes, as well as with other accounting tasks within the team

• Training or certification as a chartered accountant (m/f/d) would be an advantage, but is not a requirement
• You have at least 2 years’ professional experience in finance or accountancy
• You have experience working with ERP systems
• You have in-depth knowledge of accounting in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), as well as

tax law

• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, will be an asset
• You are characterised by strong analytical and financial skills
• A high level of commitment, flexibility and motivation come naturally to you
• A hands-on approach and the ability to work independently round off your profile
• Good communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken, as well as a valid work permit for Germany, complete your profile
