• You check and post incoming invoices, ensuring they are correct in terms of both content and figures
• You prepare outgoing invoices and send them to customers on time
• You monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable, keeping track of outstanding items and payment terms
• You carry out weekly payment transactions independently
• You reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies that arise
• In master data management, you maintain customer and supplier data and keep it up to date
• You assist with the monthly and annual accounts and prepare the necessary journal entries and documentation
• You will liaise with customers and suppliers and handle the associated correspondence
• In your work, you will use DATEV, other ERP systems and MS Office, particularly Excel

• You have completed a commercial apprenticeship, for example as an office clerk (m/f/d), office management assistant (m/f/d) or tax clerk (m/f/d)
• Ideally, you will have completed further training as a financial accountant (m/f/d)
• You have several years’ professional experience in accountancy
• You have extensive knowledge of the relevant DATEV software applications and other ERP systems
• Good MS Office skills, particularly in Excel, are part of your skill set
• You work in a structured, precise and reliable manner
• You are characterised by a meticulous and independent approach to handling payments and account reconciliation
• You communicate confidently and courteously, both in writing and verbally, with customers and suppliers
