• You will prepare annual accounts independently in accordance with commercial and tax regulations
• You will deal with tax matters relating to general and specific tax law in a professionally sound manner
• You will prepare tax returns and submit them to the relevant authorities by the deadline
• You will carry out day-to-day financial accounting accurately and on time
• You will also analyse key business indicators and interpret them professionally for senior management
• You will consistently ensure compliance with statutory requirements, internal guidelines and changing tax regulations
• You will check and post day-to-day business transactions in the financial accounts
• You will liaise with clients, authorities and internal specialist departments on tax and accounting matters

• You have completed training as an accountant (m/f/d) or a tax clerk (m/f/d) with an additional qualification as a tax specialist (m/f/d), or alternatively, you hold a university degree specialising in taxation
• Your in-depth knowledge of general tax law, for example in legislation, taxation, administration, the German Fiscal Code and valuation regulations, is a strong point in your favour
• You possess in-depth knowledge of specific areas of tax law, such as trade tax, corporation tax and VAT
• You have a good command of written and spoken German.
• You demonstrate a high level of commitment, resilience, and strong communication and teamwork skills
• You identify with the diaconal mission and are prepared to play an active role in shaping the diaconal work
• Residence in Germany and a valid work and residence permit for Germany round off your profile
