You will be responsible for the full preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS accounting standards

You will also be responsible for international group reporting to management and for the further development of existing reporting and financial processes

Furthermore, you will oversee the ongoing analysis of production and cost structures to reliably identify sustainable optimisation potential at the site

Supporting strategic investment decisions through well-founded profitability analyses is also one of your regular and key responsibilities

As part of your role, you will support the management of all general ledger processes and the specialist departments, whilst adhering to internal guidelines and processes

Furthermore, you will assist with the preparation and verification of VAT returns to ensure consistent compliance with all tax regulations and guidelines

Finally, you will be responsible for operational collaboration with internal and external auditors and will lead a small finance team in a technical capacity

REQUIREMENTS

You hold a degree in Business Administration or Finance, or a qualification as a chartered accountant (m/f/d) or financial accountant (m/f/d)

You also have several years’ solid professional experience in finance or controlling, preferably gained within a manufacturing company

Your solid knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, as well as in-depth user skills in MS Excel and Power BI, set you apart

You have excellent written and spoken German at native speaker level, as well as business-fluent English for the international corporate environment

Furthermore, you bring a high degree of analytical thinking, proactivity and a very structured and goal-oriented approach to the team

Finally, you are assertive, stand out for your team spirit and always work completely independently and with absolute reliability

To fulfil this position of responsibility, in addition to your professional expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and be permanently resident in Germany
