• You will handle day-to-day accounts receivable and accounts payable
• You will also check, allocate to accounts and post incoming and outgoing invoices
• you will handle payment transactions and monitor outstanding items
• you will also assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• this includes reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies
• You will also prepare the advance VAT return and provide support in this regard
• You will maintain master data in the accounting system
• In addition, you will be responsible for the filing, archiving and digitising accounting documents
• You will communicate with clients, suppliers, banks and tax advisers
• Last but not least, you will carry out general administrative tasks within the scope of accounting

• You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship, ideally specialising in accounting/finance
• Professional experience in accounting is desirable
• You have a sound knowledge of accounting software (e.g. DATEV) as well as standard MS Office applications
• You have a high level of proficiency in spoken and written German
• A Class B driving licence and your own car are essential
• A structured, meticulous and reliable approach to work comes naturally to you
• A strong aptitude for numbers and a high degree of accuracy are key strengths
