• You will carry out repair work on military vehicles as part of maintenance contracts
• You will be responsible for diagnosing faults and technical problems and devising appropriate solutions
• You will be responsible for the professional fitting of spare parts
• You will also be responsible for safety checks and repairs in accordance with damage-related initial assessments
• Documenting service and maintenance work using defined forms and test reports rounds off your role

• a completed apprenticeship, e.g. as a motor vehicle mechanic (m/f/d), motor vehicle mechatronics technician (m/f/d), or agricultural and construction machinery mechanic (m/f/d) specialising in specialised vehicle construction, armoured vehicle fitter (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification; alternatively, a fitter (m/f/d) with a background in electrical engineering
• ideally, you will have undertaken further training in vehicle hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems
• you have the ability to carry out diagnostics independently using the appropriate equipment
• your excellent technical understanding is a strong point
• a lorry driving licence would be an advantage
