• You will be responsible for actively supporting the development of our diverse production lines for our state-of-the-art laser communication terminals, whilst ensuring compliance with technical and commercial standards
• You will also be responsible for the precise preparation of and technical support for the handling of complex work packages, as well as the strategic planning of the entire production line
• Furthermore, you will oversee the planning, coordination and optimisation of the tasks arising within the department, in close consultation with Production, Development and Quality Assurance
• The digitalisation and industrialisation of current and future innovative optical products also form part of your operational responsibilities within an international environment
• As part of your role, you will support the effective implementation of on-site and off-site outsourcing to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the process
• Furthermore, you will help ensure that orders are always completed on time and cost-effectively, whilst taking into account all applicable internal processes and regulatory requirements
• Finally, you will be responsible for the continuous optimisation of existing processes and the systematic elimination of non-value-adding activities to increase overall productivity within the department

• You have successfully completed a degree in engineering or the natural sciences, which provides a solid foundation for this challenging role within our dynamic team
• You also have some initial relevant experience in testing optical assemblies and systems, ideally gained in an industrial setting
• Your solid knowledge of using standard ITsystems for production control, as well as your strong affinity for digital solutions, are key features of your daily working style
• Your native-level command of spoken and written German, as well as your business-fluent English, enable you to communicate seamlessly with customers worldwide
• Furthermore, you possess excellent communication skills and a high degree of flexibility, enabling you to thrive in a fast-paced working environment
• Finally, you are extremely resilient under pressure, work independently at all times and demonstrate a strong awareness of deadlines, costs and quality in all projects assigned to you
