• You will be responsible for providing technical and funding-related advice to applicants from the academic and business sectors in the field of alternative propulsion systems
• you will also be responsible for evaluating project proposals relating to sustainable vehicles and modern charging and refuelling infrastructure for bus transport
• You will also oversee the assessment of applications with regard to their scientific, technical and economic feasibility within the context of the relevant funding policy objectives
• Keeping abreast of scientific and technical developments through close collaboration with subject matter experts is also part of your varied daily responsibilities
• As part of your role, you will support the design and targeted further development of future funding measures for climate-friendly mobility systems and technologies
• Furthermore, you will actively support the five-member scientific team with administrative and technical matters relating to public funding programmes
• Finally, you will be responsible for preparing well-founded decision-making documents and for the structured documentation of all peer-reviewed research projects and applications

• You have successfully completed a university degree in engineering or the natural sciences; a PhD would be highly desirable
• You also have in-depth knowledge of project funding for publicly funded research projects, as well as budgetary and administrative law
• Your practical knowledge and hands-on experience of working with Python set you apart in your day-to-day academic work
• You have a very good command of German at C2 level, both spoken and written, and excel in providing advice
• Furthermore, you possess a high degree of teamwork skills for working in interdisciplinary teams, as well as strong communication skills
• You are also extremely reliable and consistently organise your tasks in a very meticulous and independent manner
• To fulfil this position of responsibility, in addition to your technical expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and have a permanent residence in Germany
