Your responsibilities

• You will be responsible for assembling sub-assemblies for high-voltage switchgear housings
• You’ll carry out torque tests independently in accordance with specifications
• You’ll carry out a visual inspection of the housing body to check for any faults or defects
• You’ll identify faulty components and document the test results
• You will assemble individual parts and components into complete sub-assemblies
• You will prepare prefabricated parts for further assembly and make them ready for use
• You will ensure compliance with quality and safety specifications during assembly work

What we’re looking for

• Completion of, or partial completion of, an apprenticeship as a metalworker (m/f/d) or fitter (m/f/d) is an advantage, but not a requirement
• You have manual and/or technical skills, ideally with experience in the metalworking industry
• You have a fluent command of German (at least level B2) to ensure you can understand work instructions clearly, and a valid work permit is required
• You are willing to work shifts in a two-shift operation
• You are energetic, meticulous and precise in your work, for example when carrying out visual inspections and checking for faults
• You demonstrate reliability and the ability to work as part of a team in your day-to-day work
