Job description
- You will provide operational support to the hostel management in managing all processes and ensuring a high quality of service for all guests
- In addition, you will be responsible for professional check-in and check-out and act as a competent contact person for the individual wishes of customers
- Furthermore, you will manage the central telephone system, coordinate complex reservation requests for groups and process the correspondence with all partners:
- You will also be responsible for general administrative tasks as well as assisting with daily roster planning and preparatory accounting
- As part of your role, you will support the hostel management in optimising internal processes and act as a deputy in operational matters during their absence
- In addition, you will support the team in preparing events and conferences and ensure smooth communication between the various functional areas
Requirements
- You have completed training as a hotel specialist (m/f/d), Hotel Management Assistant (m/f/d) or Tourism and Leisure Management Assistant (m/f/d)
- In addition, you have sound professional experience in reception or in an administrative interface function within the hotel industry or a comparable tourism industry
- You have a sound knowledge of the common MS-Office applications as well as experience in dealing with digital reservation systems and modern office software characterise you professionally
- Your German language skills at native speaker level in spoken and written as well as good communication skills for daily correspondence with customers are a matter of course for you:
- Furthermore, you have a high level of organisational skills, a team-oriented personality and an explicit willingness to work at weekends and on public holidays
- In addition to your professional expertise, you will also have a valid work permit and permanent residence in Germany
