Automatic welder (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• You will operate and monitor the automatic welding machine during the MAG welding process
• You will weld spots and small components by hand before the machine takes over the main welding process
• You will set up the automatic welding machine to suit the respective component and adjust the welding parameters
• Before welding, you prepare the workpieces and position them correctly in the fixture
• Whilst the process is running, you check the welds for quality and dimensional accuracy
• You resolve minor faults on the welding machine and make any necessary readjustments
• You check finished components for cleanliness and ensure the weld spots are complete before passing them on
• You document the work steps carried out and report any anomalies to your line managers

What we’re looking for

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a design mechanic (m/f/d), metalworker (m/f/d) or industrial mechanic (m/f/d)
• You have experience in MAG welding
• You have knowledge of setting up and operating automatic welding machines
• You hold a valid welding certificate
• You are skilled at carefully welding spot welds and small components
• You have a good understanding of technical matters and manual dexterity
• You are available to work early and late shifts
• You are known for your reliability and ability to work independently
• You have a basic spoken knowledge of German (minimum level)
• A valid work permit is required
