• You will carry out microbiological tests in accordance with the applicable SOPs and test procedures
• As part of environmental monitoring, you will carry out airborne micro-organism measurements, contact plate tests and airborne particle measurements
• For water monitoring, you will take water samples and analyse them using membrane filtration
• You will determine the total viable count (TAMC) and the total count of yeasts and moulds (TYMC) using the plate count method
• You test samples for bacterial endotoxins using the LAL test according to Method A (gel clot)
• You carry out bioburden tests using membrane filtration
• Microbiological testing of packaging materials is also part of your responsibilities
• You evaluate the test results, count plates and assess the LAL tests
• You organise, coordinate and carry out the dispatch of samples to external testing laboratories, for example for sterility testing and TOC determinations
• You document all activities carried out and test results in accordance with GMP, in a traceable and timely manner
• In your work, you ensure hygienic and low-contamination procedures are followed and that quality requirements are met
• You liaise with internal contacts and external testing laboratories regarding any queries about samples and results

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a biological laboratory technician (m/f/d), a biological-technical assistant (m/f/d) or a chemical laboratory technician (m/f/d)
• A successfully completed security clearance in accordance with Section 7 of the LuftSiG, as well as the provision of a certificate of good conduct, are prerequisites for your employment
• You have practical experience in a microbiological laboratory, preferably in a GMP-regulated environment
• You are familiar with microbiological testing methods, in particular membrane filtration, plate count methods and microbial count determination
• Experience with LAL tests is desirable
• Knowledge of environmental and water monitoring, as well as of hygienic and low-contamination working practices, is an advantage
• You have a good command of German to ensure the correct application of SOPs and test procedures, as well as the preparation of test documentation
• A valid work permit is required
