• You support the Berlin plant in all purchasing activities and are the central contact person for local and international procurement processes in accordance with internal guidelines
• You monitor and analyse market trends for local requirements, identify risks and opportunities and actively contribute your specialist knowledge to the team
• In close cooperation with the Purchasing Manager:You develop local purchasing strategies and implement them consistently to optimise the entire value chain
• You identify, evaluate and approve new suppliers and conduct price and condition negotiations with the aim of optimally representing the company's interests vis-à-vis business partners

• You also create purchase orders and define contracts - using our ERP system on a daily basis to efficiently control processes and speed up all administrative processes
• You are responsible for purchasing budgets and forecasts and support the tracking and organisation of returns and goods receipts of non-conforming materials together with quality assurance
• You proactively maintain relationships with suppliers and work closely with contact persons:and work closely with contacts from production, operations management and other key local departments
• Finally, you advise the local management and support the purchasing organisation of the entire group in developing synergies between the various international plants

• You have successfully completed a Master's or Bachelor's degree in economics, engineering or chemistry and have a sound theoretical foundation for this position
• In addition, you have at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in purchasing or a comparable commercial activity within a professional and international working environment
• Your confident knowledge of ERP systems and the MS Office package, especially in the use of Excel, characterise you in your daily work
• You have a native level of written and spoken German and a very good command of English for communicating with our international suppliers and partners
• Furthermore, you have a high degree of analytical thinking and negotiating skills and impress with your friendly, professional demeanour towards all internal customers
• Finally, you are a real team player with a high degree of flexibility, work in a structured and solution-oriented manner and are willing to travel for a maximum of 20% of your working hours
• In addition to your professional expertise, you must also have a valid work permit and permanent residence in Germany to fulfil this responsible position
