Job description

  • You will be responsible for the independent implementation and legally compliant conclusion of national and Europe-wide procurement procedures, taking into account the commercial review of all service descriptions in IT purchasing
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the complete operational handling of all procurement processes from the first market enquiry to the final order including deadline tracking
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for providing technical advice to internal organisational units on complex procurement projects as well as with regard to sustainable warehouse optimisation and modern, environmentally friendly alternatives to materials management
  • The preparation and legally compliant conclusion and negotiation of purchase, framework and maintenance contracts are also part of your diverse daily tasks
  • As part of your work, you will support the implementation of strategic market analyses and continuously identify new suppliers and innovative substitutes through systematic procurement marketing
  • Finally, you will be responsible for the development of future-oriented procurement strategies including supplier evaluation and the continuous further development of existing e-commerce solutions for the entire company

Requirements

  • You have successfully completed a degree in business administration or alternatively training as an office management assistant (m/f/d) or industrial clerk (m/f/d)
  • In addition, you have sound professional experience in purchasing as well as the mandatory knowledge of public procurement law and a strong technical understanding of modern products
  • You have a sound knowledge of common MS Office applications as well as modern ERP systems and specialised procurement management systems.systems and specialised procurement management systems make you particularly suitable for this challenging position
  • You have a native level of written and spoken German in order to conduct complex legal correspondence with clients and authorities in a legally compliant manner
  • In addition, you have a high level of negotiating skills and a pronounced assertiveness and always work absolutely reliably, structured and independent
  • Finally, you are a motivated team player and are characterised by a solution-oriented way of working and a high affinity for digital procurement processes and modern IT systems
