You will handle orders from start to finish and obtain quotations, checking and comparing them carefully. You will clarify quality requirements and implementation details directly with the supplier:For larger contracts, you will prepare the necessary documentation and compile it in full. You will draw up meaningful analyses and prepare them for further use. You will continuously monitor delivery dates and, in the event of deviations, liaise with the supplier:You take charge of capacity planning for suppliers and service providers (subcontractors), thereby ensuring on-time supply; you will be involved in selecting suitable suppliers and maintaining the relevant supplier contacts; you will document ordering processes and agreements in a traceable manner in the system

You have completed a commercial apprenticeship as an industrial clerk (m/f/d), a qualification as a wholesale and foreign trade management assistant (m/f/d) or a freight forwarding clerk (m/f/d) is a given for you; you have some initial experience in purchasing or procurement; you are confident in using MS Office, particularly Excel, is second nature to you; knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage; you are characterised by a structured and meticulous approach to your work; you possess strong negotiation skills when dealing with suppliers:Analytical thinking and a strong aptitude for numbers are among your strengths. You communicate confidently and courteously, even in difficult negotiation situations. A reliable and punctual approach to work is second nature to you.
