Your responsibilities

You will create precise 2D and 3D models for components, assemblies or entire timber structures using specialised design software. From these digital models, you will produce workshop and assembly drawings that comply with standards, including dimensions, sections and views. You will carry out design-related calculations to verify dimensions, material requirements and the feasibility of the structures. For production and procurement, you will draw up complete materialand parts lists for production and procurement. During the design process, you take into account the specific properties of the timber-based materials used. You coordinate drawings and design details with the workshop and related departments. You independently implement changes and adjustments to existing designs and document these in a traceable manner. You check your drawings and models for dimensional accuracy, completeness and compliance with standards

What we’re looking for

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a Technical Product Designer (m/f/d), Technical Systems Planner (m/f/d) or in a comparable technical profession
• Ideally, you have professional experience in CAD design, preferably in timber construction
• You have a sound knowledge of using CAD software to create 2D and 3D models
• You have a good understanding of how to produce manufacturing and assembly drawings that comply with standards
• You are able to carry out design-related calculations and draw up bills of materials and parts lists independently
• Working independently and in a structured manner is one of your strengths
• You have a strong focus on quality
• A sense of responsibility and attention to detail when dealing with technical drawings are essential
