Your responsibilities

• you will be responsible for determining the manufacturing method and allocating production resources
• You will be responsible for calculating resource costs, material requirements (coils, sheet metal), production time and stroke count
• You will also prepare technical cost estimates and present them
• Carrying out post-production cost analyses and reviewing cost components also form part of your remit
• You are responsible for the document management of costing documentation
• In addition, you optimise the quotation processes within the engineering department
• You will also present and defend quotation calculations to clients
• Defending the calculations in the event of an order being awarded (internally) rounds off your role

What we’re looking for

• You have completed a three-year specialist vocational training programme, supplemented by either a two-year specialist qualification or a three-year university degree, e.g. as an Engineering Cost Estimator (m/f/d)
• You have already gained several years’ professional experience in the field of engineering
• You have knowledge of cold forming, ideally also of AutoForm
• Good command of German and English are part of your profile
• You are characterised by a meticulous and structured approach to your work
