• You will professionally replace vehicle glass such as windscreens, side windows and rear windows
• You will repair minor stone chips and glass damage neatly and in accordance with specifications
• Before fitting and removing glass, you prepare the vehicles, dismantle attachments and remove adhesive residue from the bodywork
• After replacing the glass, you recalibrate the driver assistance systems where necessary
• When dealing with customers, you advise them, explain the scope of the work and hand over the vehicles after servicing
• Order entry, invoicing and ordering materials are minor administrative tasks that form part of your day-to-day work
• You keep tools, work materials and your workstation tidy, whilst adhering to safety and quality standards

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as an automotive mechatronics technician (m/f/d), automotive mechanic (m/f/d) or bodywork technician (m/f/d)
• As a career changer (m/f/d) from a trade-based profession, such as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d), plumber (m/f/d) or painter and varnisher (m/f/d), you are keen to make a fresh start
• you have some initial professional experience in the automotive sector
• you have manual dexterity and work meticulously with a focus on quality
• you hold a Class B driving licence
• you are familiar with using a computer
• you are friendly and service-oriented when dealing with customers
• Good teamwork and a trusting, collaborative working relationship on an equal footing are important to you
• You have a basic knowledge of spoken German (minimum level)
• A valid work permit is required
