• You will service gearboxes to the required standard and carry out the necessary inspection and maintenance work
• You will carry out maintenance and repair work on internal combustion engines in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications
• You pre-assemble sub-assemblies and components and prepare them for further assembly
• You analyse faults and wear on vehicle components and determine whether replacement is required
• You clearly identify the spare parts required and coordinate the selection where necessary
• Once the work is complete, you check that the repaired components are functioning correctly and document your work steps
• You always ensure that your workplace is clean and safe and that tools and test equipment are handled with care

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as an automotive mechatronics technician (m/f/d), a car mechanic (m/f/d) or a commercial vehicle mechatronics technician (m/f/d)
• You have knowledge of the maintenance of gearboxes and internal combustion engines
• You are characterised by technical understanding and manual dexterity
• A basic knowledge of spoken German is part of your profile
• You work meticulously, reliably and independently
• A valid work permit rounds off your profile
