• You will supervise, coordinate and monitor external contractors, for example during the window replacement project
• You will ensure that the contractor has unrestricted access to the site
• You carry out room handovers and inspections in the allocated student halls of residence
• You will receive reports of damage and process the resulting repair orders
• You will assist the caretakers with repairs and carry out minor repairs, such as to furniture, as well as simple plumbing and metalwork
• You assist with transport and carrying tasks, for example when distributing and replacing slatted bed bases and mattresses
• Cleaning and maintenance tasks inside and outside the student halls of residence are part of your duties
• You will put up and take down notices and tenant information
• During daily inspection rounds, you will check the student halls of residence and fulfil safety obligations, particularly in the event of an emergency

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a building services technician (m/f/d), electrician (m/f/d), plant mechanic specialising in plumbing, heating and air conditioning (m/f/d) or joiner (m/f/d)
• Your manual skills for carrying out minor repairs, such as on furniture, as well as simple plumbing and metalwork, are a strong point in your favour
• You have a good command of spoken German
• You work reliably and meticulously
• A valid work permit completes your profile
