Caretaker (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• You’ll regularly and systematically check that the building services are in good working order and that the building is kept clean
• You will coordinate and monitor maintenance schedules for the building’s technical equipment in accordance with the specified maintenance cycles, in consultation with the team management
• You will inform the team management immediately if you identify any breakdowns or significant faults with the technical equipment or the cleanliness of the building
• You will provide organisational support to the team management for any necessary repair and modernisation work
• You will rectify minor faults independently and carry out the necessary repairs
• You will organise the upkeep and maintenance of the building’s outdoor areas
• You ensure access routes are kept clear in the event of ice, snow or fallen leaves to guarantee safe access
• You carry out minor DIY repairs and simple maintenance work in and around the building
• You will carry out regular visual inspections of doors, windows, lighting and other technical installations
• You will document the inspections, maintenance and repairs carried out in a clear and traceable manner

What we’re looking for

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a plant mechanic (m/f/d), electrician (m/f/d), building services technician (m/f/d) or hold a comparable qualification
• You have experience in the maintenance and repair of building services systems
• You are characterised by manual dexterity and technical understanding
• Working independently and meticulously comes naturally to you
• You possess good communication and organisational skills when liaising with building management
• You are physically fit, including for outdoor work in all weathers
• A basic spoken knowledge of German (minimum level) is required
• A valid work permit is required
