• You will operate a vertical turning machine to manufacture individual parts and small batches
• Using the Fagor control system, you will programme the required machining programmes independently
• You define the machining steps based on drawings and technical specifications
• You set up the vertical lathe and reconfigure it for the respective production order
• You clamp workpieces in place and position them precisely on the machine
• During machining, you monitor the turning process and take corrective action in the event of deviations
• You check the manufactured components for dimensional accuracy and quality using suitable measuring equipment
• Where necessary, you optimise existing programmes to improve machining times and results
• You carry out minor maintenance and servicing work on the machine to ensure it remains operational
• You select the appropriate tools for the machining job and replace them when they wear out

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a machinist (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d) or lathe operator (m/f/d)
• You have experience in operating and programming vertical lathes, ideally with Fagor controls
• You are familiar with single-part production and the manufacture of small batches
• You have a good technical understanding and strong spatial awareness
• Working carefully and precisely comes naturally to you
• You are available to work in a two-shift system
• You have a basic spoken knowledge of German (minimum level)
• A valid work permit is required
