• You erect roof trusses and fit dormers
• You roof and insulate roofs to a professional standard
• you are involved in the construction of half-timbered houses, modern prefabricated houses, halls and industrial buildings using timber construction methods
• you lay timber floors and fit stairs, windows and doors
• You clad walls and ceilings with timber materials
• You restore historic timber structures and half-timbered houses in accordance with heritage conservation guidelines
• You read building plans and calculate the required quantities of materials
• You’ll lend a hand with the assembly and alignment of timber components on site
• You’ll check the quality of your work and ensure it is carried out professionally in accordance with specifications

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter (m/f/d), woodworking technician (m/f/d) or joiner (m/f/d)
• You have manual dexterity when working with timber and timber components
• You have experience in reading building plans and calculating material requirements
• You work meticulously and have a keen eye for precise measurements and a perfect fit
• You have a head for heights and the physical stamina required for working on roofs and scaffolding
• You are a reliable team player who is willing to pitch in, even when working on different building sites
• You have a basic spoken knowledge of German (minimum level)
• A valid work permit is required
