Your responsibilities

• you will optimise and further develop existing process and plant engineering
• you will plan, design and commission new machinery and plant
• In engineering, you will independently design structural and plant components using CAD
• You will take charge of the coordination and implementation of mechanical and process engineering projects
• You will carry out project monitoring and management independently
• You will coordinate external project partners and liaise with them
• You will support investment projects from a process engineering perspective and see them through to completion
• You will select suppliers based on cost-performance criteria
• You will draw up documents relating to environmental and plant safety, as well as training materials and commissioning manuals

What we are looking for

• You hold a degree (from a university or university of applied sciences) in Chemical Engineering (m/f/d) or Process Engineering
• You have experience in engineering and process engineering within the manufacturing sector, ideally in the chemical, plastics, textile or glass/ceramics industries
• You have also gained experience in project management and in working independently on technical projects
• You are characterised by a sound technical understanding and the ability to quickly grasp chemical engineering processes
• A business-oriented cost-benefit mindset is one of your strengths
• You have a high level of fluency in both spoken and written German and English
• You work in a structured manner and demonstrate a strong commitment
• The ability to work well in a team, combined with open, clear and transparent communication, rounds off your profile
