• You will create and optimise colour formulations and colour samples for plastics
• In accordance with specifications, you will develop pigment formulations and refine them
• You weigh out the colour formulations you have developed yourself precisely using microbalances
• You operate plastics processing machinery such as small injection moulding machines and extruders
• On the injection moulding machines, you produce test specimens for colour evaluation
• You assess the quality of the colour formulations – visually and using measurement techniques – based on the test specimens
• You carefully document your results and formulations
• Based on the evaluations, you adjust the formulations until the desired colour result is achieved
• You keep your workstation, machines and scales clean, whilst complying with the applicable safety and quality requirements

Chemical Technician (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification

• Initial experience in operating plastics processing machinery such as injection moulding machines or extruders is an advantage
• you are able to read technical drawings and work to them
• a basic knowledge of German, both spoken and written, is one of your strengths
• you demonstrate a willingness to work a two-shift system
• Technical understanding and manual dexterity come naturally to you
