Chemical technician (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• You will operate and monitor computer-controlled production plants, reactors and distillation columns via the process control system
• You continuously monitor measured values such as temperature, pressure and flow rate, and regulate the supply of raw materials according to specified formulations
• You take samples whilst the plant is in operation and carry out analyses to ensure product quality
• You will carry out minor maintenance work on the plant independently
• You will clean the equipment and prepare it for the next stage of production
• You will keep comprehensive records of production processes and document relevant process data
• You consistently comply with regulations relating to environmental, occupational and hazardous substance safety
• You respond to faults and deviations in the production process and implement corrective measures where necessary
• You will prepare raw materials and operating supplies for the production process and monitor their correct dosing

What we are looking for

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a chemical technician (m/f/d), a chemical production specialist (m/f/d) or a chemical plant maintenance technician (m/f/d)
• Ideally, you have experience of working with computer-controlled production plant and process control systems
• You are characterised by technical understanding and manual dexterity
• You are confident in using computer-aided control systems
• A strong sense of responsibility and absolute reliability come naturally to you
• You maintain a clear overview even during tasks requiring intense concentration
• You possess team spirit and a meticulous approach to your work
• Strict adherence to regulations on environmental, occupational and hazardous substances safety is second nature to you
• A basic spoken knowledge of German (minimum level) is required
• A valid work permit is required
