• You will be responsible for the operational management of capital construction projects in the areas of street lighting, traffic areas and traffic signal systems, coordinating all necessary steps through to successful completion
• You will also be responsible for designing modern traffic systems and accurately calculating all the budgetary resources required for these, taking into account current economic guidelines
• Furthermore, you will oversee the preparation of tenders, draft legally compliant construction contracts for the projects and conscientiously monitor the receipt and validity of the required guarantees
• Regular attendance at important on-site construction meetings and the technically sound execution of the formal construction handover are also integral parts of your varied responsibilities
• As part of your role, you will assist in the successful application for and efficient processing of key grant funding for various capital construction projects undertaken by the local authority
• Furthermore, as part of your day-to-day administrative work, you will assist with the professional processing of all other expenditure directly related to the local council’s roads
• In addition, you will be responsible for independently handling and providing expert clarification on all matters arising in the field of local stormwater drainage across the entire municipal area
• Finally, you will be responsible for the complete and accurate accounting of the construction projects carried out, whilst strictly adhering to all legal requirements and internal municipal guidelines

• You have a completed qualification as a civil engineer (m/f/d) or a comparable specialisation such as civil engineer (m/f/d) or road construction engineer (m/f/d)
• In addition, you have at least three years of professional experience in the field of construction management and operational project management in demanding civil engineering or building construction
• Your confident knowledge of the common Officeapplications as well as specific specialist applications in the municipal construction industry characterise you as particularly suitable for this position
• Your German language skills at level C1 in spoken and written form are essential for precise and confident communication in day-to-day work
• Furthermore, you have a high level of motivation, assertiveness and a very strong ability to work in a team and co-operate in your day-to-day work
• Finally, you are absolutely reliable and always work independently, economically and solution-oriented, solution-oriented and with a very high degree of flexibility in the face of changing daily requirements
• you have a valid class B driving licence for occasional business trips to the various construction sites and the various appointments on site
