• You will be responsible for the roughing and finishing of individual and small-batch components of medium and high complexity
• You will be responsible for machining various new parts on the Mazak 1060 5-axis turning and milling centre with MAZATROL control
• you will also be responsible for determining the machining sequence, the tools to be used and their cutting parameters (including creating and optimising programmes for CNC machines where necessary)
• independent set-up is also part of your remit
• Furthermore, you will be responsible for checking the parts for dimensional accuracy and completeness in accordance with the drawings and, where necessary, initiating corrective measures
• You will identify machine faults and malfunctions and assist with maintenance
• You will carry out maintenance and cleaning work according to schedule
• Deburring, cleaning and preparing components for transport round off your role

• you have completed a vocational training programme, e.g. as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d), a machining mechanic (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• you have already gained several years’ specialist experience in turning and milling, as well as knowledge of operating a machining centre
• You have a good command of spoken German and hold a valid work permit
• You are willing to work a three-shift system and on Saturdays
• You are characterised by an independent and responsible approach to your work
