• You will be responsible for creating CNC programmes, writing them directly at the control panel or on a PC workstation
• You will also be responsible for setting up the machine, for which you will fit clamping devices such as chucks or jaws and clamp the raw material in place
• you will also be responsible for analysing drawings, reading technical documentation and checking dimensions and tolerances
• You will also plan the workflow and define the machining steps for individual parts or small batches
• Last but not least, you will take care of machine maintenance, removing swarf, checking coolant levels and cleaning the equipment

• You have completed vocational training specialising in turning and operating cycle-controlled CNC lathes
• You are also able to programme your own CNC programmes for lathes
• Good German language skills and a valid work permit are also an advantage
• A quick grasp of new concepts rounds off your profile
