- You will programme, set up and operate CNC lathes fitted with Siemens control systems, such as Sinumerik 840D/828D
- You will independently manufacture precision parts in accordance with drawings and specifications
- Using your experience with vertical lathes, you will optimise machining processes
- You will carry out quality checks and carefully document the results
- You will carry out regular maintenance and servicing on your machines
- You will continuously develop existing NC programmes and processes
Requirements
- You have completed a vocational training programme as a machinery and plant operator (m/f/d), an industrial mechanic (m/f/d), a machining mechanic (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
- you have already gained several years’ experience as a CNC turner (m/f/d)
- you are fully familiar with Siemens control systems
- you can read technical drawings and work to them
- you have a good command of written and spoken German
- you are willing to work shifts
- Technical understanding and manual dexterity come naturally to you
- Reliability, the ability to work as part of a team and a meticulous approach to your work are your strengths
