• You will set up CNC lathes independently in accordance with drawings and production orders
• You will create and optimise programmes for machines with Fanuc or Siemens controls independently
• You carry out tool changes independently and prepare the appropriate tools and clamping devices
• You manufacture turned and milled parts for small production runs and flexibly set up the machines for this purpose
• You establish and permanently ensure the process capability of the parts on the machines
• During production, you check the dimensional accuracy and quality of the workpieces using standard measuring equipment
• In the event of deviations, you correct tool data and programmes and adjust the machining parameters
• You identify faults and tool wear at an early stage and either rectify them or initiate corrective measures

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a machinist (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d) or toolmaker (m/f/d)
• You can read and understand technical drawings with confidence
• You can reliably check dimensional accuracy and quality using standard measuring equipment
• You have a basic spoken command of German
• A valid work permit rounds off your profile
