• You will work on the Kellenberger cylindrical grinding machine and, as part of a multi-machine operation, operate several machines
• Before starting work, you check the work documents for completeness and validity and report any anomalies to your line managers
• You check the materials provided for completeness and accuracy
• You set up the machining centre and install fixtures such as clamping jaws, lathe chucks or milling chucks, and align them
• Where necessary, you turn clamping jaws
• You adjust tools and measure them

• You have completed a vocational training programme as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d),

tool mechanic (m/f/d), machining mechanic (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification

• You have experience in metal machining
• You have knowledge of setting up and operating CNC machines, ideally on cylindrical grinding machines
• Confident use of testing and measuring equipment, as well as the ability to read technical documentation, comes naturally to you
• You are also able to read technical drawings and work to them
• A basic knowledge of German, both spoken and written, is one of your strengths
• You demonstrate a willingness to work in a three-shift system and on Saturdays
• Technical understanding and manual dexterity come naturally to you
