Job description

Independently operating and monitoring authorised CNC lathes and/or CNC milling machines during the ongoing production process • Loading workpieces onto the machines, running authorised programmes, and removing and handling the finished precision components in accordance with best practice •Ensuring continuous machine operation and the early detection of faults, anomalies or process deviations •Carrying out simple inspection and measurement tasks in accordance with specifications using standard measuring equipment and instruments, and documenting the results •Safe and careful handling of CNC machines, measuring equipment and high-quality precision components • Adherence to work instructions, quality specifications, drawing requirements and inspection criteria to the extent specified •Reporting technical problems, quality deviations or faults to the shift supervisor or relevant skilled worker •No independent machine set-up, nor any independent modifications or optimisations to CNC programmes and machining processes •Professional experience in production, machine operation or metalworking is an advantage; motivated career changers from other technical or manufacturing sectors are particularly welcome •Reliability, quality awareness, a meticulous approach to work, the ability to work as part of a team and an enthusiasm for working with technology; compliance with ASI and health and safety regulations
