• You set up, configure and monitor the operation of modern CNC laser systems
• You select cutting programmes based on drawings and materials and adjust the parameters accordingly
• You prepare, load and precisely position sheet metal and metal plates
• You check the cutting quality by visual inspection and dimensional checks, and record the results
• Cleaning, care and simple maintenance of the laser system are part of your remit
• You deburr cut parts, sort them and prepare them for further processing
• You identify minor machine faults at an early stage and rectify them independently

• You have completed a vocational training programme as a machine and plant operator (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d), machining mechanic (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• You have experience of working with CNC machines, ideally laser cutting systems, and with measuring equipment
• You also handle them safely
• You can read technical drawings and work to them
• You have a good command of written and spoken German
• You are willing to work shifts
• You are reliable, a team player and work with precision
• A valid work permit completes your profile
