- You will set up machining centres in single- and multi-machine operations, programme them independently and operate them safely as part of the ongoing production process
- You will produce turned parts precisely in accordance with work plans and drawings, ensuring they are manufactured to a high standard
- You will reliably complete production orders whilst adhering to production deadlines and quality requirements
- You will also record machining times in the production data acquisition system (BDE) carefully and in a traceable manner
- You create CNC programmes independently and make corrections confidently where necessary
- For new production runs, you select suitable tools and clamping devices with technical understanding
- You will conscientiously carry out self-inspections in accordance with the dual-control principle and document these clearly
- You will also responsibly undertake quality monitoring in accordance with the inspection plan, using measuring tools, a height gauge and a measuring machine
- Maintenance, cleaning and upkeep of machines, tools and clamping devices are just as much a part of your remit as deburring and finishing work
Requirements
- You have completed an apprenticeship as a machining technician (m/f/d) specialising in CNC turning, toolmaker (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
- You have experience with CNC turning machines, as well as in programming and setting up new parts
- Ideally, you are also familiar with Fanuc and Mazak control systems
- You are confident in using testing and measuring equipment
- Good German language skills and a valid work permit are also an advantage
- A willingness to work a three-shift system rounds off your profile
