• You will prepare and monitor monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and handle the associated tax returns
• You will ensure the company’s long-term liquidity by taking responsibility for financial planning
• You will maintain contacts with banks and liaise with the auditors
• You will prepare business plans, divisional accounts and ongoing forecasts independently
• You will set up key performance indicator, reporting and early-warning systems and continuously develop them further
• For infrastructure, digitalisation and renewable energy projects (e.g. wind, solar and battery storage), you will support the commercial side and prepare profitability analyses using financial modelling
• You will identify and assess economic developments and project risks, and derive appropriate measures from these
• In all commercial decisions, you will take into account energy sector regulations such as the Energy Industry Act (EnWG), the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG) and the Energy Tax Act (EnergieStG), and ensure compliance with them

• You have completed a vocational qualification as an industrial clerk (m/f/d), tax clerk (m/f/d) or bank clerk (m/f/d), ideally supplemented by further training as an accountant (m/f/d) or business administration specialist (m/f/d)
• You have already gained solid professional experience in finance, accounting and management control
• Experience in financial planning, forecasting and financial modelling, as well as

you have experience in the technical and disciplinary management of teams

• You have a sound knowledge of preparing financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and of taxation
• Knowledge of the regulatory framework governing the energy sector, such as the Energy Industry Act (EnWG), the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG) and the Energy Tax Act (EnergieStG), would be an advantage
• You must be proficient in using MS Office, particularly Excel, as well as standard ERP and accounting software
• You are characterised by analytical thinking and a structured, independent approach to your work
