Job description

  • You will independently assemble and disassemble individual parts and assemblies from mechanics, electrics and hydraulics on armoured wheeled vehicles, electrical and hydraulic components on armoured wheeled vehicles
  • You are also responsible for repairing and replacing defective vehicle parts
  • You carefully document faulty components using inspection reports
  • You conscientiously complete test documentation and thus contribute to quality assurance
  • When troubleshooting vehicles and assemblies, you bring both mechanical and electronic and assemblies, you contribute both mechanical and electronic understanding
  • You take over the commissioning of vehicle systems and set-up kits
  • You pick materials and assemblies according to specifications and ensure their availability
  • You carry out the commissioning and acceptance of the assemblies professionally
  • You ensure that all work meets quality standards

Requirements

  • You have completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d), automotive mechatronics technician (m/f/d) or electronics technician (m/f/d)
  • Ideally, you have professional experience in the automotive industry, manufacturing industry or the metalworking industry
  • A valid forklift or crane licence is desirable and will support you in your daily work
  • You are experienced in working with technical drawings and parts lists and are confident in putting them into practice
  • Good written and spoken English skills are part of your portfolio and will make it easier for you to communicate in an international environment
  • A strong analytical mindset will help you to solve complex tasks in a structured way
  • You have a good command of the English language
