• You will be responsible for the professional commissioning and systematic testing of complex mechanical plant and technical systems on new-build ships
• You will also carry out structured system checks and thorough testing prior to final acceptance in accordance with strict regulations
• You will also inspect complex pipework systems against technical drawings and professionally install the necessary sensors and fittings
• Your responsibilities include the precise execution of pressure tests and the correct filling of the systems with operating fluids
• Furthermore, you will provide reliable support in the preparation and final handover of all technical systems to the shipping company
• Finally, you will systematically analyse technical faults and carry out qualified warranty work on site to ensure the long-term resolution of faults

• You have successfully completed a recognised vocational training programme as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d), ship’s mechanic (m/f/d) or mechatronics technician (m/f/d)
• you have also gained several years’ practical experience in the mechanical commissioning of complex ships or plant
• Your ability to read technical diagrams and drawings accurately sets you apart in your day-to-day work
• You have good to very good command of German, as well as a sound knowledge of English to ensure effective communication
• Furthermore, you excel in your day-to-day work through your consistently independent approach, high level of flexibility, strong communication skills and excellent ability to work as part of a team
• To take up this role, you must hold a valid work permit and have a permanent residence in Germany
