Company Social Counsellor (m/f/d)

On behalf of our client, a Berlin-based utility company, we are looking for you to take on a role in occupational social work as part of a temporary placement for a minimum of 18 months, with the option of a permanent position.

Your responsibilities

• You will advise staff, managers and works council members as part of your role in workplace social work
• You will support and advise employees on personal or psychological difficulties and other stressful situations
• You will provide counselling to address workplace conflicts and substance abuse
• You will intervene to provide support in crisis situations
• You will facilitate access to further support or rehabilitation measures
• You will design and deliver prevention programmes, seminars and workshops
• You will participate in internal and external committees and help shape company-wide public relations

What we are looking for

• You hold a degree in Social Work or Social Pedagogy
• An additional qualification in systemic counselling would be an advantage
• You have gained experience in counselling and supporting people in stressful life situations
• We require you to have knowledge of dealing with conflict situations, addiction issues and crisis intervention
• You are characterised by empathy and a keen understanding of interpersonal dynamics
