• In this role, you will operate various items of construction machinery, in particular wheel loaders and excavators, and incorporate mineral waste materials into the disposal areas in accordance with the applicable regulations
• You will inspect and assess delivered and dumped waste materials with regard to their classification under waste legislation and their admissibility
• You will assist with the unloading of concrete sleepers and ballast from trains in accordance with operational requirements
• You will load transport vehicles, carry out clearing and levelling work in the laying areas, and perform ancillary tasks
• You will ensure the swift loading of vehicles and the dispatch of delivery vehicles
• You will maintain the logbooks and operating records for the allocated equipment, as well as the operations log
• You will ensure the equipment is in good working order and safe to use by carrying out daily checks
• You will carry out cleaning, maintenance and minor repair work on the equipment

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a construction machinery operator (m/f/d) or hold a comparable qualification
• You hold valid certificates of qualification and authorisation to operate construction machinery
• Several years’ professional experience in operating construction machinery, particularly wheel loaders, would be an advantage
• You have a good understanding of technical processes
• You ensure the economical use of fuel and consumables and comply with the applicable installation instructions for the work areas
• Good written and spoken German, as well as a valid work permit for Germany, are part of your profile
• You hold a Category B driving licence
• You are willing to work day shifts and, where necessary, at weekends and on public holidays
• You are characterised by a reliable, independent, structured and solution-oriented approach to work, as well as the ability to work well in a team
• A willingness to undertake further training rounds off your profile
