• In your role, you will be responsible for the assembly, adjustment and tacking of shipbuilding parts and thus make a significant contribution to the quality and precision of the manufacturing process
• After appropriate instruction, you will carry out welding work such as setting bolts and assist in forging weld seams to ensure their tightness
• You will grind, and tack-weld components in accordance with the construction documents and the specified quality standards and carry out the necessary reworking of kerb joints
• In addition, you will carry out light forging work as part of cold and hot forming

• you also assemble pallets and trays and draw AH markings according to specifications
• you take over the acceptance of models and implement change notifications (ÄM) professionally and according to standard
• you carry out customisation work independently and according to the applicable specifications

• You have successfully completed training as a construction mechanic (m/f/d) specialising in metalworking and shipbuilding, metalworker for construction technology (m/f/d), metalworker (m/f/d) and thus meet all technical requirements in accordance with the current training regulations
• you have several years of professional experience in metal or shipbuilding technology as well as knowledge of forging
• good written and spoken German language skills
• on a personal level, you have strong organisational skills and work in a structured and conceptual manner
• a high level of technical understanding, creativity and flexibility speak in your favour, especially when it comes to developing solutions or reacting to new situations
• you like to work on your own initiative and independently, but also appreciate working in a team
• a valid work permit rounds off your profile
