• You will read technical drawings, parts lists and design plans and translate them into production
• You will shape components according to specifications by bending, edging, straightening and folding
• You machine workpieces, for example by drilling, milling, turning or grinding
• You produce welded joints on components and assemblies and select the appropriate welding processes for this
• You carry out assembly work on structures according to plan, either in the workshop or at the customer’s premises
• You finish weld seams and surfaces, deburr workpieces and prepare them for further processing
• You look after and maintain tools, machines and welding equipment, whilst observing health and safety regulations

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a construction fitter (m/f/d), metalworker (m/f/d) or industrial mechanic (m/f/d)
• You can confidently read and understand technical drawings, parts lists and design plans
• You have experience in various welding processes
• You have knowledge of materials science, for example regarding metals, alloys and their properties
• You are well-versed in cutting, forming and machining metals
• You are proficient in assembly and joining techniques and work with precision and care
• You work reliably, with a focus on quality, and adhere to health and safety regulations
• You are a team player and flexible, even when carrying out assembly work at customers’ premises
• You have a basic spoken knowledge of German (minimum level)
• A valid work permit is required
