• Duties: You will be responsible for welding sheet metal assemblies and components of varying complexity using all standard welding processes (e.g. TIG, MIG, MAG, spot welding and stud welding)
• You will also independently determine and implement machining and production sequences
• You will read and implement technical drawings and working documents
• In addition, you will straighten components using standard straightening methods (e.g. flame straightening)
• Your responsibilities also include welding, grinding and finishing visible parts as well as functional assemblies
• In addition, you will carry out leak tests on weld seams in accordance with applicable specifications
• As part of the worker’s self-inspection process, you ensure product quality
• You are responsible for the assembly of sheet metal assemblies and sub-assemblies
• You also operate hand-held machines and tools (e.g. grinders, drills, hand-held plasma cutters)
• last but not least, you will operate simple sheet metal working machines (e.g. sheet metal shears, swivel bending machines)

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a construction fitter (m/f/d), metalworker (m/f/d) or hold a comparable technical qualification; Alternatively, you have relevant professional experience in welding
• You also have very good skills in reading technical drawings
• Several years’ practical experience in MIG and TIG welding sets you apart
• You also have experience working with sheet metal assemblies and welded structures
• Good spoken and written German and a valid work permit are also to your advantage
• Up-to-date welding qualifications in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9606-1 (135 and 141) are an advantage
