• You will weld sheet metal assemblies, sub-assemblies and simple steel structures (e.g. for specialised machinery) using all standard welding processes, such as TIG, MIG, MAG, spot welding and stud welding
• Using technical drawings and work instructions, you will manufacture components with precision and independently determine the sequence of machining and production steps
• You will straighten components using standard straightening methods such as flame straightening
• You will machine visible parts and functional assemblies by welding and grinding in accordance with
• You will carry out leak tests on weld seams and ensure product quality as part of the operator’s self-inspection
• You will independently select suitable equipment and fixtures
• You will assemble sub-assemblies and join components using standard joining methods such as bonding and clinching
• You operate hand-held machines (grinders and drills, hand-held plasma cutters) as well as simple sheet metal working machines (sheet metal shears, swivel bending machine) with confidence

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a design mechanic (m/f/d), metalworker (m/f/d) or metal fabricator (m/f/d) – alternatively, you have relevant professional experience in the field of welding
• You have several years’ practical experience in MIG and TIG welding, as well as in working with sheet metal assemblies and welded structures
• You have excellent skills in reading technical drawings
• You work with a focus on quality, independently and meticulously
• Up-to-date welding qualifications in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9606-1 (135 and 141) would be an advantage
• You are willing to work in a two-shift system
• Valid work documents (work permit) and spoken German are essential for employment
