Your responsibilities

• In this role, you will independently develop and design assemblies and individual components for printing presses
• You will develop concepts for new assemblies, including the necessary cost analyses and cost comparisons
• You will be responsible for the design, assembly, testing and process engineering support of prototype units
• You will contribute to production-oriented product design as well as to series production support and revision
• Furthermore, you will systematically seek solutions and further develop design-related issues in collaboration with other specialist departments within the company

What we are looking for

• You have successfully completed a degree in mechanical engineering or hold a comparable qualification
• You have professional experience in design
• You are confident in using 3D CAD systems (NX and Teamcenter)
• Technical knowledge of printing press engineering is an advantage
• Proficiency in using a PC (Google Workspace, SAP 4/HANA) is a given for you
• Good written and spoken German, as well as a valid work permit, are part of your profile
• an independent, meticulous and systematic approach to work, as well as team spirit, round off your profile
