Job description

  • You ensure accurate and timely entry and fulfilment of customer orders
  • In addition, you are the first point of contact for customer enquiries and clarify questions promptly and reliably
  • You enter and process sales orders, credit notes, direct debits, discounts, commissions and sample orders in SAP
  • You monitor open orders, check documents, identify problems and inform customers and internal departments in the event of discrepancies
  • You also actively communicate with customers about the SAP order status (order confirmation, delivery confirmation, prices, forecasts, quality, delivery dates, service quality)
  • With your work you handle consignment stock processes - including reconciliation and invoicing (if applicable)
  • You create proforma invoices and customer quotations in coordination with M&S (if applicable)
  • You manage letters of credit, if this is required in the process
  • You keep data clean and up-to-date
by maintaining the order processes in SAP (housekeeping)

Requirements

  • You have a commercial education and at least five years of experience in a customer service environment
  • With your advanced knowledge of SAP, MS Office and information systems, you work confidently and efficiently
  • You make it easy for yourself to get started, if you have experience in customer service or internal sales and are very detail-oriented
  • In addition, you ideally have knowledge of the chemical industry and its products
  • You have excellent communication skills, a professional demeanour and a strong customer focus
  • Very good written and spoken English skills; other languages are an advantage; round off your profile
