Job description

  • You will be responsible for actively advising and selling bus tickets, various special tickets and subscriptions to our diverse customers directly in the modern service centre
  • In addition, you will be responsible for providing competent information on applicable fares for scheduled services and on the comprehensive range of local public transport services
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for receiving and clarifying complaints and customer concerns in order to ensure that our passengers and customers are always highly satisfied:
  • The conscientious accounting of daily revenue as well as general cash management in compliance with all internal guidelines is also part of your daily tasks
  • As part of your job, you support the team in administrative processes and ensure smooth operations within the busy customer area
  • Finally, you are responsible for the correct documentation of all sales transactions and contribute significantly to the positive image of our customers through your friendly manner

Requirements

  • You have successfully completed training as an office management assistant (m/f/d), salesperson (m/f/d) or catering specialist (m/f/d)
  • In addition, you have sound professional experience in direct sales or in the customer-oriented service area, You always communicate confidently with different target groups
  • You are confident in the common MS Office applications and have a quick grasp of new software solutions
  • You have a native level of written and spoken German and ideally a basic knowledge of English, which enables you to communicate smoothly with all passengers
  • In addition, you have a high degree of service orientation and strong communication skills, to always act confidently even in stressful situations
  • Finally, you are absolutely trustworthy when handling cash and always work independently, in a structured manner and with an eye for the essentials
